Apartments for sale in Montenegro will have to meet certain standards.
In Montenegro, from 01.01. From 2024, they apply new rules in the construction of apartments, according to the Ordinance that entered into force in the summer of 2023.
Residential buildings will have to meet certain conditions regarding the area of the apartments.
According to the Ordinance on the preparation of technical documentation for a residential building, a studio apartment cannot be smaller than 25.5 m2.
The minimum bedroom area for a one-room apartment cannot be less than 12 m2, and that room is designed for 2 people.
The total area of a one-room apartment cannot be less than 46 m2.
A one-and-a-half-bedroom apartment is an apartment with a bedroom of 12 m2, designed for 2 people and another room for one person, 8.5 m2 in area.
A one-and-a-half-bedroom apartment can have at least 58.5 m2.
A one-bedroom apartment must have two rooms of 12 m2 each, or 71 m2, and a two-and-a-half-bedroom apartment of 12 m2 and one of 8.5 m2, a total of 80 m2.
A three-room apartment can have a minimum area of 89 m2, a four-room apartment of 112 m2.
